Of course la....at KK always dine outside. Now, scare going outside to eat. I rather stay at home to eat my mum's cook.

I remembered last time, we (bro and I) love to eat outside food. We feel it tastier. But now, I feel my mum's cook is the best. (Anyone wanna try can ask me).

I love seafood very much...

Simple recipe from my mum:-

a) Sotong (squids) were bought from market and washed it.

b) Sambal paste.

c) Cook the sotongs with the sambal paste till it was cook. Add some water so it won't too dry.

Hakka Pork Dumplings

Happy Dumpling's Festival~

Every year my mama will make the dumplings (bak chang) to celebrate this festival. She is very good in making those bak chang. However, none of her daughters and son know how to make it.

I don't prefer eating outside make bak chang. I heard some of my friend said those bak changs are make use of chemical. Plus...they sold in high price.

There are many types of bak chang. But my mama just make hakka dumplings. LOLs... I'm hakka.

Photos taken when my mama make those bak changs....

First and the most important thing you need is bamboo leaves.

Second, the so called glutinous rice (nuo mi).

Five spices powder.
Black eye peas.

Onions.

Dry cockles. (Put some if you prefer).

Porks. (Non-halal).
Chestnuts.

Cook all the ingredients with onions and added some seasoning. The results:-

Mushrooms + Chestnuts.

The glutinous rice need to cook with those beans with seasoning added for better taste.

Tada~

Finish wrapping. Then, put them in boiling water and cook for 2 1/2 hours.

Lastly, wishing everyone......

Cereal Butter Prawns

Anyone knows that Kota Kinabalu sell seafoods cheaply compared to Peninsular Malaysia? Eventhough you ate in the seafood restaurant, it's don't cost much.

I, myself. a seafood lover. I love prawns, fishes, crabs and etc so much.

Although in KK, I have the chance to dine in those seafood, I still prefer my mama's dishes. My mama can cooks very well. That's why papa married my mama...(-.-)

Once I back to KL last week, I told mama that I wanna eat this and that.

"What to do? Your daughter don't know how to cook." :P

The next day, she bought prawns. She even taught me how to cook. She wants me to cook for her when she old. Haha...

Lesson started:
  • First, wash the prawns and mariginate with salt for few hours. Placed them in chiller.

These are curry leaves.

Cereals

  • After a few hour, take out the prawns from chiller. Put some oil into frying pan and heat it.

  • Place the prawns inside and cook it till it turn a bit reddish. (Don't cook too long). Take them out and sieve from too oily.

Eggs.

  • Put some butter into frying pan and let it melt.

  • Put the curry leaves in. For a better fragrance.

  • Put the prawns in and cook for a while.

  • Pour some stirred eggs. Yum yum..

  • Serve while hot.

End of lessons for today.

Thanks mama..

I love you.

XOXO.

New Hairstyle

Just got myself a new hairstyle. I used to be long hair since I was young. My hair is straight but very little. That's why sometime many people said my hair so little and I can't do rebonding and only can perm it.

So, I proved it to them. I done my rebonding.

My hair after second day of rebonding.

I still remember during my secondary school, I once cut my hair into a boyish style. Many of my friends got suprised.

Comments by them: -OMG~why u can't it short?

- Look childish.

- Onion head @ pineapple head

That's alot more. They feel that me having a long hair nicer and sweet. So, I decided not to cut my hair short after that. I always cut my hair till shoulder length.

Even, if I change my hairstyle, I don't change much.

Latest me. I know...nothing much change.
Maybe after my convocation, I will try to cut my hair short. I don't want my convocation photos with my short hair.
Someone want me have a short hair cut long time ago. I think your neck should be grow longer by now. :P
So, guys...long hair better or short hair? Vote it.Leave comment.
