Feeling so stress recently.

Family, his family and my career.  3 in 1 come together but it doesn't enjoyable like a cuppa of 3 in 1 coffee.

I wouldn't blame anyone nor myself. I will stand up again and face it.

Do you believe cooking or baking will help release stress? Am not sure whether it's work for everyone but for me...yeah...

At the same time I can eat and free my mind from the problem. I'm not away from the problem. I'm just giving myself sometime to think of it.

Senju Tei Japanese Restaurant @ Melaka

Hi all,

Bf and I love Japanese food so much. So one day, we decided head to Melaka to enjoy our craving for sashimi.

We will keep exploring more Japanese food. Of course we would also like to be in Japan one day to try out the real Japanese food.

Senju Tei Japanese Restaurant is located at Melaka Raya. You could find the restaurant easily as it is located at the main road. Spacious of parking space available outside

Tried out their sashimi. Tasted great and it's so fresh.

This is my food order of the day. I think I ordered too much until I couldn't finish it all. Need help from the bf. =) He ordered udon sashimi set for his own.

Asam Laksa & Cendol at Melaka Jonker Street

It's Sunday. I have Sunday blues instead of Monday blues. =(

Head to Melaka for a bowl of asam laksa help to cure my bluessss..... I wish everything will be alright when tomorrow come. Life have to go on. I won't give up in spite of the bad words coming to me. *thick face*

Not to forget, hot weather like this die also must have this ice cendol.

Fika Swedish Cafe & Bistro, Singapore

During the last day trip in Singapore, my buddy Ivan brought me to Fika Swedish Cafe & Bistro at Arab Street. It was supposed our lunch but end up for dinner.

Fika Swedish Cafe & Bistro is a Halal cafe for your information.

Dining here was great, especially the food and environment. It was greater because the dinner is treat by Ivan. =) Thank you so much!!

He keep recommended me what is the specialties in Fika. It was a good recommendation as Ivan is very choosy and particular when come to food.

Swedish Panbiff (Ivan's). I love the mashed potatoes but I can't took the beef =( 

Smoked Salmon spaghetti (my loves). But ended up cannot finish and need help from Ivan.

Red Velvet cake. (Highly recommend!!). We both shared the cake as we were very full but I insisted we should get a cake for our dessert. 

Posting this makes me hungry and I miss my buddy, Ivan. Gotta catch up with him soon.

Wa Zen Japanese Restaurant

After Friday work, decided to head to Malacca for a movie.

Darl Darl suggested we have our dinner at Wa Zen Japanese Restaurant since I was craving for Japanese cuisine.

Wa Zen Japanese Restaurant is a modern Japanese restaurant with nice ambience and friendly staffs. It is located at Melaka Raya. This is my first time here. Once entered the restaurant, I saw this.

The shelve display varies Japanese comics.

You can either choose to sit in the cubicle or open Japanese style seats.

The food served was good.

They have choices of food and drinks for you to choose. Worry not you don't have anything to eat, be worry of you can't decide what to eat.

Though the price is slightly expensive than Sakae sushi, I definitely will visit Wa Zen for the next time.

Mini escape - Singapore (3/2-7/2)

Before CNY, went to Singapore for mini escape from my hectic life in KL.

Followed darl darl all the way from Johor to Singapore. He went there for business trip. I go there not only holiday, got mission to do. *fingers crossed*

We reached hotel around 6pm and after checked-in.

Comfort bed. I can sleep like a pig XD.

Simple and nice

We went for dinner in Sakae Sushi located at Bugis Junction.

We walked around the malls and out of my expectation, he went for a talk with bridal promotion at Bugis. He seems very serious when asking questions. Hmm...now I know...his dream for bridal photoshoots is in Taiwan. He loves Taiwan so much!!

We were so tired after that, plus darl darl need to work the next morning. So, we headed back to hotel and take a good rest. I feel pampered throughout the trip. <3 nbsp="" p="">

I love Singapore. I love staying in Singapore. Love the environment and the high style. 

I will find time again to travel Singapore with my loved ones again soon =)

Chinese New Year 2013

Wishing everyone Happy Chinese New Year and  恭喜发财! May everyone new year filled with happiness and prosperity! Huat ah!!!!

Was too busy before and during chinese new year (CNY). So I got no time to update my blog. *self-blame*

This year CNY holidays are too short for everyone. Have to get back to work so early that everyone still in CNY mood. =.= Why Malaysia no holidays for CNY until chu15 (Chap Goh Mei)? Why? Tell me why?

What I did during CNY:

1. Reunion dinner is a MUST

Must 大鱼大肉. All dishes symbolized good things. =) Oh ya....the tempura prawns I cook one. *show off* LOL....

2. 年花. Every year dad insists to put this up! So got CNY mood. The ang pows inside got money one XD

High Tea Session

Had a date with my ji mui, Xue Yei for high tea session the other day. 

Such a great day dating and have a great chat with her after long time since our last meet.

Sometimes, we really need someone to talk to when we are lost. Not that I need you to give a lot of advice. As long as you sit there and listen to what I am saying, then it will be enough. And I'm glad I have this kind of friends around me. Thank you so much. 

Been to Ficelle Boulangerie & Patisserie for twice. Such a great place to relax your mind and have a date. Although the food are not variety as Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie but it's a good place to hang out.

Curry Laksa Noodles

My first attempt to cook curry laksa. I am not a good cook cause I don't always cook. I love cooking just that I don't like to clean up after I am done cooking. (n n)

Since darling loves eating hot and spicy food, thus I need to learn to make some to satisfy his stomach. People said, " In order to tie a man heart , you gotta tie his stomach first." Something sound like that. 

So, today here you go my curry laksa noodles:

My main ingredient of course you two. The curry laksa paste (can be bought from the market) and coconut milk.

Up clockwise: Beansprouts, fish and pork balls, tau fu pok and noodles.

Not to forget boil water. =)

Heat up the oil. *Sorry I can't find any smaller or medium pot. =P

Fry the onion

Put in the paste and other ingredients

Some curry leaves and powder. You are done for now. 

Next, prepared the noodles. OMG! Looks like spaghetti.

Ta da~ ready to be served.

I know, looks not so capturing right? But,.....it's delicious. Just like I pack at the food stall one.

Lunch Gathering @ Plan B, Publika

The other day went for lunch gathering with my schoolmates. Decided to go Publika at Solaris Dutamas. There are so many nice food to hunt for. 

At the end, we decided to go for Plan B. 

Funny thing happened when one of my friend saw my message (old) and thought the gathering in the night for dinner. Haha... 

The whole session we just eat and chat. No self-captured. 

So, here you are:

All About Foods in Ipoh

Ipoh is the capital city of Perak located north of Kuala Lumpur (apprximately 2 hours drive). It's the city of Perak state. 

Ipoh has a vibrant food scene with a vast proliferation of hawker centers and restaurants. It is well known for dishes such as "Sar Hor Fun" (Chinese: 沙河粉). Other dishes from Ipoh include "Hor Hee", flat white rice noodles served with fish cakes and/or fish balls, "Nga Choi Kai" (Chinese: 芽菜鸡), a chicken fillet with soy sauce and beansprouts with pepper spread on top (drooling, my favourite) ,yellow rice noodles served with mince meat (pork) sauce and "Heong Peng" (Chinese: 香饼) (my favourite too), a type of biscuit. Besides, Ipoh is famous for its "Ipoh white coffee".

So, our first stop when we were in Ipoh:

a) Onn Kee Nga Choi Kai Restaurant.

This is the "kai" (chickens). Yummy and juicy. The gravy tasted good as well. 

This is the "nga choi" (bean sprouts). Their size are so big and short as compared to KL one. They are also so crunchy when I bite it. *Crack* that's the sound.

Second stop after dinner:

b) Tong sui kai (Dessert street).

It's a street (long one) with many food and dessert stalls you can hunt for.

We ordered "sai milo" (shaved ice tasted with fruits and sago). So cooling. I love the honey dew one. So honey dew taste. Don't know how to describe. Go try it out yourself.

Second day:

c) Foh Sang Restaurant

It is a dim sum eating restaurant. Tips: Better go there early as the later will be hassle with people. Really so pack and you need to wait for the seats.

d) Nam Heong Coffee.

After breakfast, we headed to Nam Heong Restaurant for their famous Ipoh Old Town Coffee. I'm not a coffee type person except for Starbucks & Coffee Beans. 

Ipoh Old Town White Coffee. Tasted so aromatic and smooth. SLurrppp....down the throat.

Another "Yim kok kai" (Salty chicken) we bought from town earlier.
